* MAT OPENING:  Mat is the heavy paper "frame" underneath the glass and within the wooden frame.  The mat opening is the "window" through which you see your portrait.  In this column the openings are in inches.

* PRICE:  The prices are in U.S. dollars and are for one subject.  A subject is the focus of your portrait . . . a person, a pet, a house.  Prices in this column do not include a frame.

* FRAMED:  The amounts in this column are for your portrait and a frame.  A frame includes the wooded frame itself (black or burgundy color), a glass front, and under the glass a heavy paper mat (cream, gray or khaki color).  I put them together.  I seal the back of the frame to protect from dust.  I attach hanging hardware.   And I sign the back.

* EXTRA SUBJECTS:  Your portrait framed or not will increase by the amounts in this column each time you add another subject.
